After waking in a tragic car accident in dreary woods, Tom "Vincent" Wells, a disheveled and reclusive officer is without his memories. Paranoid and plagued by hallucinations, he finds himself trailing back to his hometown, Brimstone Peaks; a sleepy–and quite small–town in the woods. Expecting a warm welcome back from the residents of the town; he discovers that none of them are as he remembers, together with the forthcoming, looming danger lurking behind decrepit walls, with each day that passes on.
